The Center for Tropical Research, a center of the UCLA Institute of the Environment, conducts research in tropical ecosystems in order to inform and guide effective conservation practice and policy, in partnership with indigenous universities, non-government and government organizations. The Center’s research, outreach, and training programs are now in place in more than 15 countries on three continents.

Donations to CTR will provide the Center with the funds necessary to continue its work to educate conservation biologists in the US and abroad, as well as bring the best thinking and research to efforts to conserve tropical rainforests and other ecosystems.
