UCLA's Communication Studies Department is among the finest academic units of its kind in the nation. Offering students an interdisciplinary program encompassing subjects such as First Amendment law, mass media communication, nonverbal communication and digital media, the program is one of the most popular majors among UCLA undergraduates. The Communication Studies faculty are engaged in groundbreaking research into communication processes and effects. The Department's alumni go on to careers in a diverse array of fields including law, broadcasting, journalism, advertising, motion pictures, finance, education, social work and human resources.

Your support is vital in helping Communication Studies remain one of the nation's top Departments in a competitive academic environment. Contributing to the Communication Studies Department can make a difference in our ability to attract and retain top faculty and students, improve undergraduate and graduate programs, and maintain state-of-the art facilities and resources for research and teaching over the coming years.
