You Can Make a Difference: Donate to UCLA Bariatric Surgery


UCLA Bariatric Surgery is one of the few US centers actively pursuing a solution to the obesity epidemic. Through the Center for Obesity and Metabolic Health (COMET), our surgeons have developed effective surgical and nonsurgical treatments for obesity and sustained weight loss.

Support from the community is integral to our ability to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care and improve the quality of life for our patients and their families. Philanthropic support also provides the necessary tools to continue our cutting edge research.

We appreciate all gifts and those made through this website will be directly allocated to UCLA Bariatric Surgery under the supervision and direction of Dr. Erik Dutson and Dr. Yijun Chen. Donor support enables us to advance our research efforts, and fulfill our commitment to provide some of the best surgical outcomes in the country, individualized obesity treatments, minimally invasive procedures with less scarring and shorter recovery times, and comprehensive patient care.
