Thank you for your interest in supporting our research and patient care efforts towards the cure for cancer. The Department of Radiation Oncology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA strives to improve the lives of our patients through research, education and compassionate patient centered care. However, we do not do this work alone. We share these efforts and are supported by our patients, their families and friends.
Our department’s Division of Molecular and Cellular Oncology performs cutting edge basic science research targeting cancer growth signaling pathways, cancer stem cells and immunotherapy for cancer. The discoveries from our research are translated from the laboratory rapidly into our clinic through our translational research program. It is through the collaborative efforts among medical scientists within our department as well as throughout the University that creates the “UCLA Advantage”. The UCLA Advantage maximizes the opportunities for medical breakthroughs that will benefit our patients and patients around the world.
There has never been a more opportune time in medical history for making rapid significant advances in cancer treatment. Our mission to continue to create the environment that provides leadership and excellence in research, teaching and patient care is enhanced by your monetary support. With your help, we can continue to strive towards fulfilling our mission of working towards the cure for cancer.
Thank you for your support.
