Center for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at UCLA

Duchenne muscular dystrophy is the most common lethal genetic disease of childhood, affecting one in 3,500 boys worldwide. We need your help to build the Center for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at UCLA and staff critical positions within its programs. The Center uses its resources to lead the search for effective therapies. Because of UCLA’s leading role in the development of new biomedical knowledge, the Center is able to match donor funds with support from the campus and national funding agencies, including the National Institutes of Health.

Key components of the infrastructure, however, can only be realized by donors seeking to help us secure the future for those who suffer from this devastating disease. Thank you for your consideration.
