Partners for Pediatric Progress is a program of the  Global Health Program at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
The mission is to improve the health and care of children in some of the lowest resource regions of the world, by developing close partnerships and training programs based upon the priority needs of global partners. Volunteer pediatricians, surgeons and nurses work closely with our partners in sub-Saharan Africa and South America to build training programs for local health care providers. These individuals can in turn train the next generation of physicians and other medical professionals, demonstrating our commitment to building local capacity and making a sustainable impact.
