Dr. Haake had a highly distinguished career in the field of dentistry and was a member of faculty at the UCLA School of Dentistry for over two decades. During this time, her unique ability to bridge the gap between the laboratory bench and the practice of dentistry allowed her to make important and lasting contributions to our understanding of oral health.

This fund seeks to address the critical shortage of clinician-scientists by supporting the careers of young investigators at a critical stage in their development.
